Renov8 - Disciple6
Sunday Mornings
D6 is our plan to make disciples among middle school and high school students. This involves a six year process of training and teaching. Ideally a student at the end of their time in D6 will have a grasp of the fundamentals of Biblical Christianity as well as be prepared to share their faith and to lead their own disciple groups going forward. D6 is facilitated in micro-groups of three or four that are led by a disciple-making adult. Students are encouraged to complete sessions throughout the week under the mentorship of a parent or guardian. The intention of D6 is to prepare students to disciple believers now and for a lifetime, nearby and to the ends of the earth. We believe that every follower of Jesus is commissioned to make disciples, and though it is primarily the job of parents to disciple their children we are here to assist and equip in every way possible. Renov8
Wednesday Nights
Middle school and High school students are facing social and emotional upheaval that often occurs during these seasons of teenager life. Renov8 exists to lead students into a growing relationship with Christ that results in the student growing to the point of assisting in the rescue of others. This is an exciting environment where students can come as they are and allow God to renovate their hearts from the inside out. Group activities and a high energy student led worship point toward a Biblical gospel message. Students also have the opportunity for community with other believers their age through small groups that discuss the weekly Bible text that was taught.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Hot Hearts
FBC Beaumont's Renov8 student ministry participates each year in Hot Hearts. Hot Hearts is a top-notch Christian conference attended by thousands of students. This exciting evangelistic event is a great opportunity to invite friends who do not yet know the Lord Jesus.
Camp
FBC Beaumont's Renov8 student ministry attends Falls Creek Summer camp in Oklahoma. Falls Creek is a huge camp with tons of activities for students. Within a worshipful environment, relaxed atmosphere, and intentional Bible study, many of our students have come to faith in Christ and have grown in spiritual maturity.
Bonfire
Throughout the year FBC Beaumont's Renov8 student ministry hosts a number of events to develop an intentional and inviting environment to hear the good news of Jesus. Like Jesus, we want you to come "as you are," but we love you too much to leave you there. The Renov8 bonfire, kickball competitions, and other similar events are a starting point for engaging in authentic community.

Nate Jordan
Motivated by Jesus' method of personal disciple-making, Nate Jordan and the leadership of FBC Beaumont's student ministries unapologetically focus on personal disciple-making. Placing disciple-making as a priority fosters a greenhouse environment for spiritual growth that defines the mission statement of FBC Beaumont student ministry. Our students may become the leadership of tomorrow, but they are already part of the church today. Renov8 student ministry engages young people with the good news of Jesus Christ and invests in those who come to faith to increase in spiritual maturity. Within Jesus' "Message" of the gospel, and "Method" of disciple-making, our student ministry emphasizes the calling of the Church to Be a disciple of Jesus and to Make disciples for Jesus.
