Hey! I’m Brittany Miller. I came to know the Lord as Savior after my first year of college. After many years of trying to rescue myself from the choices, circumstances, and feelings that consumed me, I acknowledged the reality of my sin for the first time. Upon hearing the truth and being surrounded by friends who loved the Lord and loved me, I accepted the free gift of salvation in Jesus. I was discipled well. I learned to know, love, and obey God within the friendship of a few godly girls. Jesus rescued me, and then my life was completely transformed. I knew then that I wanted to spend the rest of my life sharing the good news of salvation in Jesus and walking alongside people, teaching them to observe all that God communicates to us through His Word.
Josh and I married in 2010 and partnered with Beaumont’s FBC shortly after. We found a family in these people and are so thankful to the Lord that we get to do life with them. While Josh’s coaching career moved us around the Gulf Coast from 2015-2018, we were blessed to be planted among these people once again. We are now raising four amazing children and count it a great joy to invest in their daily lives. It is the delight of my life to live with these five people, and wife and mother are my most cherished roles.
After many years of walking with the Lord since those early days in college, I still find myself unable to stop talking about the goodness of God in my life. I love to share my faith and disciple the women and children around me. Witnessing spiritual transformation in people makes me marvel at the power of God. I know that I cannot generate this change in myself, and I am confident that I can’t produce it in another. So, as I faithfully obey the great commission of Jesus, I enjoy this front-row seat to the work that only He can do. What a gift.
I began contributing to our DMD curriculum in 2021, then served as a resident minister for two years while I completed a master's in theological studies from Liberty University. I now have the privilege of serving the people of Beaumont’s FBC as Connections Minister. We desire to reach the people in our community and those who step into our doors with the good news of Jesus and the hope found in relationship with Him. We don’t want anyone to live in isolation from the truth of the gospel or the people of God. We want everyone here to form deep connections to each other, to ministry, and to the church so that in unity, we may go and BE THE CHURCH to our families, communities, and nations.
